Doug Baily is a graduate of the University of California
at Berkeley, |
Boalt Hall School of Law. Doug practiced law in
Los Angeles prior to working as a commercial real
estate broker. Doug worked both in private practice
and as an in-house attorney for a Fortune 100 sized
corporation with its own real property department.
His practice emphasized a wide range of real property
transactions, including the negotiation and documentation
of complex commercial lease transactions, as well
as acquisition, disposition, environmental, and
land-use work.
Over the past 14 years, Doug has represented a diverse
client base in a wide range of real estate transactions.
Doug has provided comprehensive real estate brokerage
services which include: 1) the relocation of existing
facilities to alternative locations, 2) the negotiation
of existing lease obligations regarding early termination,
3) the evaluation of diverse locations with reference
to consolidation of space requirements, 4) asset
disposition involving the sale, lease, or sublease
of excess real estate inventory, and 5) value enhancement
prior to disposition achieved through the leasing
of and subsequent sale of excess property.
Doug has represented his clientele in real property
transactions both in the traditional class "A"
office market, as well as for retail and industrial
uses and in "problem" markets. He has
represented clients locally, regionally, and on
a national basis.
Doug's client base includes law firms and other
professional groups, small closely held businesses;
large publicly traded corporations with their own
in-house real property departments, high-tech companies,
nonprofit organizations, and government and quasi-governmental
entities. |
